Pradip D Kothari, Chairman & Managing Director

Pradip D Kothari has been the Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of Kothari Industrial Corporation Limited (KICL) since 1981.He is responsible for creating KICL's vision and chalking out the marketing, research and production milestones towards achieving the vision. As CMD, Pradip D Kothari has extensive management experience and has pioneered the various expansions of KICL from fertilizers to tea plantations, granites and breweries. Under his leadership,KICL scaled its infrastructure and diversified its product offerings while maintaining a strong culture of innovation. He is recognized and respected in the corporate world for his hands-on understanding of the Indian farmer's needs.

A successful businessman, Pradip D.Kothari was the Honorary Consul for South Korea in Chennai, for Southern India during the period August 1989 to August 1999. He was also the past President of Indo-American Chamber of Commerce (South India Council and National), Hindustan Chamber of Commerce, Round Table India, member of Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI), Indo-German Chamber of Commerce, Indo-French Chamber of Commerce, etc.He has also served as the Secretary of the World Council of Young Men's Service Clubs.

He received a graduate degree in Economics from the University of Madras.

Rabindran Swamidason, Executive Director

Since joining KICL, in 1988, Rabindran Swamidason has grown from being a senior management resource to becoming the Executive Director of the organization. He has helped the company grow into a veritable force in fertilizers. He is responsible for the external matters of KICL: building partnerships and broader business relationships, government outreach and technology thought leadership, as well as advising the CMD and senior leadership on business and policy issues.

Between 2001 and 2006, Rabindran worked with Bharti Cellular Limited and rejoined KICL during 2006. He has a strong sales and marketing background and is an alumnus of the Bharatidasan Institute of Management (BIM), Trichy.

Antara (Kothari) Pandit, Vice President - Business Development

Antara Pandit has business in her roots, and is rooted to her business. She drives the growth of KICL's future business model; executes sales strategies of the future businesses against corporate vision, develops and scales up new businesses and customer bases. She also monitors the results, quantifying the successes and shortfalls, and is setting the trend to making course corrections that are needed to enhance the baseline strategies employed in the new verticals.

Prior to joining KICL, Antara was with iSolve Group of Companies as a Relationship Manager responsible for the development of International Business within the Media & Publishing industry and was highly respected for her ability to build strong client relationships at all levels.

Antara is a Business Management graduate from Purdue University, Indiana, USA.

G Mohan Das, Senior General Manager - Finance, Legal & Compliance

G Mohan Das is KICLs Senior General Manager handling finance, legal, regulatory and corporate governance functions. He has nearly 30 years of experience in handling financial operations and legal management in the corporate sector. This multi-faceted, yet humble senior general manager also dons the cap of Company Secretary and Compliance officer for all the group accounts of KICL.

His stint with KICL started in 1981, and he has added value to the group companies in various roles - as Internal Auditor, Accounts Executive or Assistant General Manager or Deputy General Manager.

Mohan Das is a Fellow of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and The Institute of Company Secretaries of India respectively.

N Santharam, Deputy General Manager - Commercial

N Santharam is KICLs Deputy General Manager handling Commercial department. In this capacity, Santharam develops, operates and maintains commercial systems and procedures that will meet the needs of the organization. He currently oversees the import of raw materials from different countries to KICL's plant at Ennore, Chennai.

Santharam started off with KICL in 1981, as an executive of the systems department that housed a team of IBM professionals - He finally led the team that nurtured him! Over the years he donned various roles in different departments including income tax, shares, finance, accounts, marketing, import and export before moving on to the commercial department. In the past he was responsible for the completion and submission of Statutory, Government and Industry requested statistical data, and ensuring that the administrative support and services for the organization were in order.

Santharam holds a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from Madras University.

Ramesh Babu M, Deputy General Manager - Sales & Marketing

Ramesh Babu in his role as Deputy General Manager - Sales & Marketing, directs sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly. He reviews markets periodically to determine customer needs, price schedules and offers that should be packaged to gain wider penetration into the market.

Prior to joining KICL in 2010, Ramesh was with Nagarjuna Fertilizers & Chemicals Limited for 24 years, heading the sales and marketing teams. His versatile personality and experience gives him a clear advantage in the markets of Andhra Pradesh, Punjab, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh & Gujarat. He is known to mobilize others to fulfill the vision of the organization, inspiring respect and trust.

He has a wide exposure to sales & marketing, product promotion and brand development. He holds a degree in agriculture from the SV Agriculture College, Tirupathi.
