Pradip D Kothari, Chairman & Managing DirectorPradip D Kothari has been the Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of Kothari Industrial Corporation Limited (KICL) since 1981.He is responsible for creating KICL's vision and chalking out the marketing, research and production milestones towards achieving the vision. As CMD, Pradip D Kothari has extensive management experience and has pioneered the various expansions of KICL from fertilizers to tea plantations, granites and breweries. Under his leadership,KICL scaled its infrastructure and diversified its product offerings while maintaining a strong culture of innovation. He is recognized and respected in the corporate world for his hands-on understanding of the Indian farmer's needs.
A successful businessman, Pradip D.Kothari was the Honorary Consul for South Korea in Chennai, for Southern India during the period August 1989 to August 1999. He was also the past President of Indo-American Chamber of Commerce (South India Council and National), Hindustan Chamber of Commerce, Round Table India, member of Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI), Indo-German Chamber of Commerce, Indo-French Chamber of Commerce, etc.He has also served as the Secretary of the World Council of Young Men's Service Clubs.
He received a graduate degree in Economics from the University of Madras.
Dr.Easo John, Director
Dr.Easo John is an alumnus of Madras Chirstian College (MA, Economics) and of Northwestern University ( Kellog Institute, MBA & Ph.D). He wasa Madras University Scholar, Fulbright/smith-Mundt scholar, and fellow of the Ford Foundation.
He was a well known student leader and freedom Fighter who was awarded the Tamarapatra by the Government of India in recognition of this role in the “Quit India” movement(1942).
He has served the Government (First Plannning Commission) as well as Muti Nationals, Public Sector and Private Sector enterprises. The positions include, inter alia, Financial Controller, IBM, India, Director, Amoco India, Chief Executive, Madras Fertilizers, Chairman and CEO, EID-Parry, Chairman, Travancore Fertilizers, Chairman and CEO, EID- Parry, Chairman, Trancore Titanium, and Chairman, Dr.Easo John and Associates. He has authored two books, “ A Chirstian Perspective on Management” and “ Management of Non- Profit Organizations”.
His Teaching experience include, Vijay College, DAV College (Jallundar), Kellog Institute (NorthWestern University, USA), IIM Ahemdabad and Loyola Institute of Business Administration.
Commerce Graduate from Delhi University and Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management with a specialization in Sales and Marketing from the Institute of Management Studies, Delhi.
Mr. K.Santhanam retired as President , Meltrack India Ltd.,one of the Associated Company of RPG Group. Prior to this, he was associated with EID Parry India Ltd, a blue chip Company of Murugappa Group for 15 years, as General Manager (Operation). He has long years of experience particularly in the areas such as production Planning, material Management, TQM, Finance, Legal, Sales and Marketing, HRD across diverse business.
Over 40 years of experience in Sales, Marketing and over all Operation of Manufacturing Units.
Currently Director in the Board.

He has more than 10 years experience in the water and bottled beverages Industries. He has accomplished Project works in Domestic and International as a turnkey Consultant. His expertise involves Planning, Designing, overseeing the Execution of Erection and Commissioning of the Projects. As a One Stop Shop for the potential Entrepreneur from the Planning stage to the Commissioning of the Plant.
Have been associated with Bisleri, Kingfisher and Multinational Brands like Pepsico’s Aquafina and Coca Cola’s Kinley for the direct supplying Bottled water accessories and as Co-packers.
Surekha P.Kothari, Director
Mrs.Surekha P.Kothari is a Master Graduate from Mumbai University with Specialization of Political Science.
She is a Vice President of Kothari (Madras) International Limited, Chennai, & serving as a Farmer National President of FCCI Ladies Organisation; National Treasurer of Ladies Circle India; Vice President of International Women's Association; Governing Body Member of Institute for Financial management & Research; Chairperson of Madras management Association; Member of Crafts Council of India.
She has been worked in the Market Research Division of Kamani Export House, Mumbai, prior to marriage. She Was Madras Correspondent of “Flair” magazine.
She is a well trained Hypnotherapist, Healer and Counselor , working in her own set up, Body Mind Soul Centre at Nungambakkam. She gives talks, seminars on various topics related to self development to organizations such as Rotary and Inner Wheel Clubs in Chennai & Mumbai, Presentation on Chakras at the Past Life Regression Convention in Hyderabad, INDUS, the Mumbai based NGO, Social Service League.
She conducts Workshops on Chakras, Character & Personality, Awakening the Real "YOU", attitudes, Pranayama for Health etc.. Also, many modules tailor made for specific groups with specific interests.
Rabindran Sawmidason, Executive DirectorSince joining KICL, in 1988, Rabindran Swamidason has grown from being a senior management resource to becoming the Executive Director of the organization. He has helped the company grow into a veritable force in fertilizers. He is responsible for the external matters of KICL: building partnerships and broader business relationships, government outreach and technology thought leadership, as well as advising the CMD and senior leadership on business and policy issues.
Between 2001 and 2006, Rabindran worked with Bharti Cellular Limited and rejoined KICL during 2006. He has a strong sales and marketing background and is an alumnus of the Bharatidasan Institute of Management (BIM), Trichy.
Antara (Kothari) Pandit, Vice President - Business DevelopmentAntara Pandit has business in her roots, and is rooted to her business. She drives the growth of KICL's future business model; executes sales strategies of the future businesses against corporate vision, develops and scales up new businesses and customer bases. She also monitors the results, quantifying the successes and shortfalls, and is setting the trend to making course corrections that are needed to enhance the baseline strategies employed in the new verticals.
Prior to joining KICL, Antara was with iSolve Group of Companies as a Relationship Manager responsible for the development of International Business within the Media & Publishing industry and was highly respected for her ability to build strong client relationships at all levels.
Antara is a Business Management graduate from Purdue University, Indiana, USA.
G Mohan Das, Senior General Manager - Finance, Legal & ComplianceG Mohan Das is KICLs Senior General Manager handling finance, legal, regulatory and corporate governance functions. He has nearly 30 years of experience in handling financial operations and legal management in the corporate sector. This multi-faceted, yet humble senior general manager also dons the cap of Company Secretary and Compliance officer for all the group accounts of KICL.
His stint with KICL started in 1981, and he has added value to the group companies in various roles - as Internal Auditor, Accounts Executive or Assistant General Manager or Deputy General Manager.
Mohan Das is a Fellow of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and The Institute of Company Secretaries of India respectively.
N Santharam, Deputy General Manager - CommercialN Santharam is KICLs Deputy General Manager handling Commercial department. In this capacity, Santharam develops, operates and maintains commercial systems and procedures that will meet the needs of the organization. He currently oversees the import of raw materials from different countries to KICL's plant at Ennore, Chennai.
Santharam started off with KICL in 1981, as an executive of the systems department that housed a team of IBM professionals - He finally led the team that nurtured him! Over the years he donned various roles in different departments including income tax, shares, finance, accounts, marketing, import and export before moving on to the commercial department. In the past he was responsible for the completion and submission of Statutory, Government and Industry requested statistical data, and ensuring that the administrative support and services for the organization were in order.
Santharam holds a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from Madras University.
